Wonderful stay on a quiet cul de sac on the marsh. It was close to the beach access and quick golf cart ride to the park and restaurants. We loved the pool and hot tub, but lots of flies. The view for the sunrise and sunset was amazing! The hostess/manager was super responsive and friendly when the pool umbrella was broken and a light bulb went out. She was there within an hour. The kitchen was well stocked, but a couple of pans were warped . We were able to cook everyday and had what we needed. The kids had so much fun playing NBA jam, darts, and basketball in the cul de sac. We had a terrific vacation and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this Airbnb. Great views of the intercoastal waterway. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac. That was also nice to not have to deal with any road traffic from the main road.

On a positive note, the view is absolutely gorgeous from the back deck. Very peaceful, spacious & we loved the pool. Unfortunately, not much else I can say that’s positive about our stay here. The previous guests were awful on the place & broke a ton. Everything was chaotic & so many basic things missing in the kitchen. No backs on numerous remotes, devices not working, no hot water in master bathtub. Dirty bathrooms and dishes. Lamps broken, cutting boards snapped in half, tiles smashed all throughout the house and pegs on the stairs broken, smoke detectors ripped out. It was pretty bad. Even if all of this was from previous guest, a phone call informing us of what we were walking into would have been helpful and professional. They brought baking sheets and cutting boards when reached out, but I do wish these things would have been replaced before we realized we didn’t have them when we needed them. Sometimes apologizing after the fact is too late when you are well aware of situation
Our group had a wonderful beach vacation at the Marsh Mellow! This house has a great private pool area and stunning scenery! We absolutely loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom, tons of space for everyone.
Great place to stay for large groups! Nice and clean home with a short walk to the beach

Overall our stay was amazing! I wish we could have stayed for longer. The hosts were extremely generous and very responsive. A family vacation we won’t forget! We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at Marsh Mellow on Ocean Isle Beach. This place has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The views of the Sound and Intracoastal Waterway were breathtaking. It's in a private, quiet spot but still just a short walk to the beach.
The house was perfect for our group of 11. With 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, everyone had their own space and the beds were super comfortable. We loved the two king suites, two queen suites, and the bunk room, which was great for the kids.
The outdoor amenities were fantastic. We spent a lot of time by the pool and in the hot tub. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling, and we had a blast playing the outdoor games provided.
Inside, the house was well-designed and very convenient. The elevator made it easy to get our stuff to all floors. The balconies offered stunning views, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Overall, it was an exceptional vacation property!

What a gorgeous home! We had a wonderful stay! The home was immaculate and well appointed. We used all five bedrooms, and they were laid out perfectly for our family. The view from the back deck was stunning and peaceful. It was an easy walk to the beach. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pool, which was very private and had beautiful views! There was a gift bag of nice, useful gifts and supplies! The hosts were quick to respond when we had a minor issue. We would definitely stay again!!

Everything was great. All our concerns were addressed quickly. Most related to hurricane Idalia and having to turn things off and back on again. Didn't know you rent golf carts until too late. Will plan to rent fro you next time. Thx for a wonderful vacation. you really feel like you have a private beach because of the great location. Such a special place.Â
We've been visiting OIB every other year since 2015 & have stayed many places on the east end. Marsh Mellow was as described & more. When the only mention of anything wrong across 9 people was no railing for the pool, you know you've found a great place. Coastaway was super responsive & covered all the bases regarding arrival, the stay, and check out. We'll see you again in 2025!Â
We've been coming to OIB for 30 years and this is one of the best homes we've stayed in. The communication with Coastaway and the amenities they provided were top notch. The two golf carts we rented were fantastic. We throughly enjoyed the Marsh wildlife and the view of the waterway. Our 4 year old grandson said - "best vacation ever"! We will definitely rent this home again  Â
